That is crazy! I’m glad there were only a few to choose from in 2016 because there are some seriously adorable new Shoppies! So stinkin’ cute! There are now 67 Shoppies. The four original Chef Club Shoppies are Donatina, Jessicake, Peppa Mint, and Bubbleisha and each came with their own VIP card. Actually, she considered going as Strawberry Kiss, Cupcake Queen, or Lippy Lips but ultimately settled on a Shoppie Shopkins costume because she said no one else was going as a Shoppie. I think Shoppies are adorable so I was totally into this theme! The hardest part was choosing which Shoppie to be to go trick or treating. This year my daughter insisted on being a Shopkins doll for Halloween. I don’t make many costumes for me any longer but I love making them for my kids.

What do you think? Do you think she looks like the cabbage patch dolls you grew up with? I know I probably could have gotten better pictures, but I am okay with that. I loved taking pictures, but I had no clue what I was doing. In fact, I am not sure I even knew what a blog was. You have to remember, last year at this time I was not blogging.

Tonight, as I was editing images, Legoman came in and told me she looked just like a doll. This is one of my absolute favorite pictures of Super B. I was just about to head to the thrift store (since this is my go to for all things cool), but first I wanted to check through all the clothes people had donated to us when we had Super B.Ĭan you believe, someone actually had given us some super cute (totally 80’s) overalls.

I knew I didn’t want to spend a ton of money and I knew I wanted the outfit to look straight out of the 80’s. Now, I just had to come up with an outfit to match. That’s when I found this amazing wig on Etsy! I kid you not, I emailed the shop owner on October 23rd and had the wig in my hand by October 28th! It was just what I needed with a new baby and just starting homeschool. This simple cabbage patch doll costume took no prep, no time, and no hassle. okay, okay…I know you get it it! Yes, I am a child of the 80s and it shows! That being said, last year when it came time to choose a costume for my 5 month old, it didn’t take long before I knew exactly what I needed to choose.
